Fiberlogy Nylon PA12+GF15 is an advanced engineering filament based on PA12 Nylon, reinforced with 15% glass fiber (GF). This modification significantly improves its mechanical, chemical, and thermal properties, making it an excellent material for demanding industrial and technical applications.

The glass fiber reinforcement gives the filament a stiffness of 3.6 GPa and allows it to withstand temperatures of up to 170°C. Compared to pure PA12 Nylon, it offers much higher mechanical and chemical resistance, as well as greater durability of finished parts.

Unlike the carbon variants (PA12+CF5 and PA12+CF15), the glass fiber version provides greater flexibility. This makes prints more resistant to variable loads, impacts, and vibrations, making the filament an ideal choice for parts operating in demanding working conditions.

The filament has very low shrinkage, ensuring excellent dimensional stability. Unlike many technical nylons, PA12+GF15 does not require a heated chamber, which increases its accessibility even for home use.

Fiberlogy PA12+GF15 is perfect for:

  • Automotive and machinery industries – load-bearing parts,

  • Technical components – elements resistant to impacts and abrasion,

  • Engineering – prototypes and final parts requiring high thermal and mechanical resistance.

Due to the high abrasiveness of glass fiber, it is recommended to use steel or ruby nozzles during printing to prevent excessive wear of standard brass tips.

Print settings

Tips and recommendations

  • Nozzle:The material is highly abrasive. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle is required.
  • Handling:Use gloves (micro-damage to the skin may occur). When handling, use a dust mask and safety goggles.
