Fiberlogy ABS ESD is a specialized 3D printing filament designed to protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Thanks to its antistatic and dissipative properties, the material safely disperses charge energy which significantly reduces the risk of electronic damage and prevents unexpected device failures. Electrostatic discharges can cause serious equipment malfunctions and expensive repairs. By using ABS ESD, engineers and manufacturers can minimize ESD-related risks already at the stage of designing and producing functional parts.

Tips and recommendations

  • Nanoparticles:Due to the presence of nanoparticles, the filament structure is not smooth. Occasional thickening is natural but does not affect the correct filament diameter, which remains within the declared tolerance.
  • Recommended 0.6 mm nozzle:To avoid potential clogging with wood particles, we recommend cleaning the extruder after each FiberWood print using any PLA filament. Minimum recommended nozzle diameter – 0.5 mm.
