The addition of aramid fibers increases the mechanical resistance of printed parts, improves their durability and reduces the risk of crumbling and cracking under load. The filament also features very good layer bonding (adhesion) and reduced shrinkage, allowing larger models to be printed while maintaining high dimensional stability. Its distinctive matte, raw surface finish gives prints a professional look typical of composite materials.

ASA+AF filament retains all the advantages of classic ASA while offering even higher resistance to wear and mechanical damage. The material has a reduced coefficient of friction, providing increased abrasion resistance (tribological wear resistance). Thanks to its resistance to UV radiation and weather conditions, the material is ideal for outdoor applications such as automotive parts, drone components, device housings and parts exposed to impacts and changing temperatures. The filament is heat resistant up to 94°C.

To achieve optimal printing parameters, the use of an enclosed heated chamber and a hardened steel nozzle resistant to abrasion caused by aramid fibers is recommended.
